Administrative Assistant

Summary

MILLERCO specializes in obstruction lighting, carrier maintenance and tower services for a variety of customers in the telecommunications industry. We value hard work, a willingness to learn and employee safety above all else.

The Administrative Assistant supports our Operations Managers with the day-to-day functions of their crews and assists in completing all documentation required by customers. The role works closely with both the Operations Manager and field crews to ensure daily and weekly goals are met. In addition to collaborating with the Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant completes additional administrative tasks in the office as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Operations Manager with daily operations, including updating, dispatching and closing work orders
  • Complete closeout packages and other documentation required by clients
  • Create and submit change orders and new requests
  • Collect, audit and approve employee time records
  • Reconcile credit card statement monthly
  • Audit corporate lodging records weekly
  • Book travel arrangements for employees
  • Answer telephones and direct calls to the correct employee
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements 

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an office setting
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to navigate work management databases and online customer portals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, including phones, printers and fax machines
